Our Verdict:
The Oki C711 is a laser colour printer capable of meeting high-speed printing requirements at low initial user investments. The system features printing speeds of up to 34 pages per minute for colour and up to 36 pages per minute in monochrome. A powerful 533 MHz processor powers the unit while an impressive standard memory of 256MB backs up its performance. The Oki C711 is capable of resolution settings, using its ProQ2400 Multi-Level Technology, of up to 1,200 x 600 dpi. Portability options including Hi-Speed USB, 10/100-TX Ethernet, and IEE 1284 Bi-directional parallel ensure that this network ready unit is more than capable of handling any small to mid-sized office's printing needs.
Design
The compact footprint of this stylish printer helps to conserve office floor space. The Oki C711 comes in 3 model types ranging from only 28 kg to 48.6 kg in weight with maximum features included. The unites actual chassis measurements come out at roughly 39 cm high by 43.5 cm wide by 55 cm deep for the basic model. The C711's standard input tray capacity is right at 530 sheets of 80 gsm and can be expanded even further to accommodate a total of 1,690 sheets for minimal user maintenance. The Oki C711 toner system is very easily accessible and cartridge change-outs are a breeze. Humming along at around 54dBA while operating and dropping to a mere 37dBA while idle, the C711's noise range is perfect for any front office needs.
Advantages

Disadvantages
The Oki C711 doesn't have many weaknesses, but one that was easily noticeable was the lack of a front side USB port for easy flash-to-print capabilities. The only other weakness noted, and this is even stretching a little, was that warm up time was around 60 seconds from power on.
