Oki MC860 toner cartridges 

The Oki MC860 is a wide-format, full colour, multi-functional laser printer with 4-in-1 capabilities. It is designed to accommodate any office need ranging from mono/colour printing, copying, scanning, and faxing on media up to tabloid size. This is the perfect workhorse for any medium to large-size office. The MC860 is capable of print speeds of up to 26 pages per minute in colour and 33 pages per minute in monochrome. The system comes with a 40 GB standard hard drive and the MC860 is capable of printing up to 1,200 x 600 dpi in resolution settings.

Design

The compact, yet stylish MC860's base model measures out at around 56cm wide x 66cm deep x 67cm tall and weighs in at approximately 96 kg. A 13.97cm LCD touch-screen interface allows for easy access to a multitude of functions. The Oki MC860 leaves a very small footprint as compared to other similar systems and can help maximise office space by combining several essential functions. The Oki MC860 toner cartridge system is very easy to use and convenient to access for minimal user maintenance.

Advantages

Portability and compatibility options are numerous and all encompassing. The Oki MC860 is compatible with most Windows and Mac operating systems for convenience and connective porting options include USB v2.0 High Speed, Parallel, and 10/100 Base-T Ethernet. Oki MC860 toner cartridges come in both normal and high-yield capacities allowing for maximum cost efficiency. Duplex monochrome and colour printing comes standard with the MC860 and optional add-ons can increase the sheet capacity of the system all the way up to 1,460 sheets. A very high duty cycle of around 75,000 sheets per month ensures durability and dependability.

Disadvantages

The noise level of the Oki MC860 is slightly higher than some similar systems at around 37dB on stand-by and about 54dB when operating. Initial investment costs are a lot higher for the Oki MC860 than some similar systems. Although the LED printheads come with a 5 year limited warranty, the actually printer only comes with a 1-year on-site limited warranty.
