The Ricoh Aficio MP3500 is a multifunctional office solution for copies, scanning, faxes, printing and document management. This is a high class model with superior performance characteristics. Professional offices would see this unit as an ideal answer to their output needs. Printing capabilities are 35 pages per minute standard black and white. Networking capabilities are through a standard Ethernet interface although can be networked wirelessly as well because of the 802.11 NIC. Warm up time is only about 15 seconds. Print resolution is 600 dpi. Two 500 sheet trays for paper provide ample supply to print jobs spooled in the 128 MB memory stick. Duplex printing, reduction/enlargement, an auto document feeder and electronic sorting are all standardised on the MP 3500. Optional scanning and fax capabilities may add on to the price. Design
Unit design is console form with a large flatbed scanning image sensor on top. Copies are dispersed on the side of the machine. A large LCD touch screen provides easy adjustment to all print, copy, scan, and fax jobs. Network connectivity is located in the rear along with power supply. Up to four 500 sheet trays are located on the bottom portion of the unit.
Advantages
Vast amounts of paper can be stored in the optional four drawers. A large office with multiple clients connected to the Ricoh MP3500 can run seamlessly all day every day. Wireless networking allows for easy installation and connectivity for clients with an 802.11 network interface card.
