Our Verdict:  

Ricoh Aficio MPC7501SP toner cartridges 

Ricoh's fastest full colour multifunction printer to date is the Aficio MPC7501SP. Packing in fax, scan, print, and copy functions in one sturdy (albeit bulky) machine, this efficient solution for high-volume printing needs is suitable for medium to large office environments. The Ricoh Aficio MPC7501SP is designed to help reduce outsourcing expenses and reduce colour printing costs.

Design

The Ricoh Aficio MPC7501SP is an energy-saving solution with unique stapling, hole punching, ring binding, and booklet finishing options. Users can also print from a network, thanks to the MPC7501SP’s advanced connectivity features.

Advantages

This machine requires minimum operator training and features a user-friendly interface. Impressively, the fast print speeds (75ppm in monochrome and 70ppm in full colour) are unaffected when performing double-sided printing. The Ricoh Aficio MPC7501SP is also highly secure, being equipped with User Code and Windows Authentication features to prevent unauthorised access.

Disadvantages

It could take almost a minute for the Ricoh Aficio MPC7501SP to warm up, but that that is not unusual for printers of this size. Perhaps the biggest drawback is that Ricoh failed to use a more advanced processor than Intel Pentium M 1.4GHz. The 1 hour memory backup for fax documents is also quite short.
