The Ricoh SP-325SFNW is a multifunctional printer that offers printing, copying, scanning and faxing capabilities all from one machine. The relatively small size of the Ricoh SP-325SFNW makes it a great option for small to mid-sized businesses. It promises productivity and efficiency as well as speed and excellent results, thanks to a print speed of 28 ppm and a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. It’s also set up for wireless connectivity, making it completely future-proofed, and can work with both iOS and Android devices so that users can print, scan, fax or copy straight from their mobile devices.
Design
The Ricoh SP-325SFNW measures 405 x 392 x 405 mm and weighs approximately 17kg, so while its footprint is relatively compact for a four-in-one MFP, it’s probably not ideal for home office use. Its off-white and dark-grey colour makes it likely to fit in with most office décor, while the push button control panel and LCD display screen make for excellent ease of use. There is also an integrated document feeder, which saves you time and effort.
Advantages
This Ricoh 325SFNW is a great option for medium-sized organisations or workspaces that need a hardworking machine that doesn’t sacrifice results for efficiency. The unit has a warm-up time of 30 seconds, first print speed of 8 seconds, and a continuous print speed of 28 ppm, but it also has a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. When it comes to copying, it offers multi-copying for up to 99 copies, and a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, while the scanner works in both black and white and colour, with scanning speeds in mono of 13 originals per minute and 4.5 originals per minute in colour.
Disadvantages
There are very few disadvantages to the Ricoh SP-325SFNW, although it is a shame that smaller businesses might find both the footprint and price point of this MFP out of reach, considering its excellent functionality.
