Sagem Laser Pro 356 Printer Review

Expert review of the Sagem Laser Pro 356 printer 16 January 2013

Our Verdict:

Offices with limited space in need of a printer, copier, scanner, and fax machine may opt for the Sagem Laser Pro 356. This multifunction laser printer has a flatbed scanner and an automatic document feeder. Print resolution can go as high as 600 x 600 dpi while scanning is 300 dpi. This unit is installed with a 92 MHz processor. The Sagem Laser Pro 356 mono laser printer does not have networking connectivity.

Design

This white and grey multifunction printer measures 440 x 460 x 460 mm and weighs 14 kg. It has a 35-sheet ADF and can handle 250 sheets at a time but an optional 500-sheet paper feed tray is offered. The Sagem Laser Pro 356 multifunction printer has a print and copy speed of 18 ppm. The fax machine, on the other hand, has a modem speed of 33.6 kbps. The Laser Pro 356 is easy to use as it has a large control panel with LCD display, numeric keypad, and function buttons.

Advantages

The reliable Sagem LaserPro 356 MFP delivers decent quality output. Prints, copies, scans and faxes are crisp and professional. The black and white Sagem 356 laser printer is ideal for small offices, it takes up little space and does not require regular maintenance. The Sagem 356 Laser Pro printer is user-friendly and setup is quite easy, too, it offers USB and parallel connectivity. Buying a twin pack of Sagem Laser Pro 356 black cartridges is the best way to cut printing costs.

Disadvantages

The duplexer is not standard to the unit and Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity are not offered. The LaserPro 356 could be better if it had a USB host.
