The Xerox Phaser 5550DX is a great-value laser printer that works perfectly in working environments of up to 30 users. More compact than your average hardworking printer, this product offers results, speed and productivity all in one relatively small package. While it doesn’t offer colour printing, its print speed of 50ppm, first page print speed of just 6.5 seconds and print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi should more than make up for it. With automatic duplex printing, the Xerox Phaser 5550DX is ready to produce real results for any hardworking office pretty much as soon as it’s out of the box.
Design
This range of printers has a baseline measurement of roughly 640 x 520.6 x 490.7mm and weighs approximately 41kg, but the final measurements and weight of your Xerox printer will depend on the number and type of additional options that you choose to add on. The 5550DX option comes with the standard 1,100-sheet 3-Tray feeder, as well as a 1,000-sheet feeder, extra 2,000-sheet feeder and 3,500-sheet finisher, all of which significantly affect the overall footprint of the machine. The Xerox Phaser 5550DX features an off-white and grey-blue colourway, which would fit in with almost any office décor.
Advantages
The main advantage of the Xerox Phaser 5550DX is simply how productive it is, even in a fast-paced, hardworking environment. It has a monthly duty cycle of 300,000 pages and can print even highly complex jobs, such as multi-page jobs with graphics, images or charts, quickly and easily.
