The Bizhub 4000P mono laser printer is easily expandable to meet the needs of a small and easy office, and the versatile paper handling makes it capable of handling thick envelopes and heavy cover stock when necessary.
Design
The Konica Minolta 4000P printer looks understated and sleek with a compact, boxy body that weighs 14.016kg and measures 15.7 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 10.3 inches tall. Direct-to-PC connectivity is via high-speed USB 2.0 or the parallel port, while network connections are supported with an Ethernet port. The standard paper capacity is 250 sheets for the main cassette and 150 sheets in the multipurpose tray, while the output tray can handle 150 sheets at a time. The centrepiece of the control panel is a 2.4-inch colour LCD screen.
Advantages
With 42ppm output speed in 1200x1200dpi, the Konica Minolta Bizhub 4000P produces sharp and clear results fast to reduce downtime and enhance productivity. The paper capacity can be increased to 2,000 sheets. Two-sided printing is standard along with auto blank page removal. Instant-on feature applies to the fuser, enabling the Bizhub 4000P to warm up fast and produce the first page quickly. The simplified control panel is easy to understand and read with animated navigation screens on the LCD display. It can easily be integrated with Bizhub office multifunction printers. The only consumable required is the economical black Konica Minolta TNP38 toner which can print up to 20,000 pages.
