  • I'm considering buying a 3-pack of Brother LC1280 colour cartridges. Do I have to replace them all at the same time? Are they wrapped individually or might they dry out if I only use one for a while?

    This pack of genuine Brother LC-1280XL ink cartridges contain three separate cartridges including the Brother LC1280XLC cyan ink cartridge, the Brother LC1280XLM magenta ink cartridge and the Brother LC1280XLY yellow ink cartridge. Each of the cartridges has an expiry date of at least 12 months from the date of purchase so you can store any of them for up to a year and use them at different times as and when you need them at any time during this period, provided they are stored in a cool, dry place in their unopened packaging. These cartridges are only likely to dry out quickly if they are left unused within the printer. We offer a one year warranty on any of the cartridges in this genuine Brother LC-1280XL CMY multipack so you can return any cartridge that doesn't work reliably for a full refund.

  • Can I use the LC-1280 range of inks in a Brother MFC-J625DW printer? I thought I could only use the LC1220 or LC1240 ranges but elsewhere I've seen suggestions that the LC1280 cartridges can also be used?

    No, the LC1280XL high capacity cartridges aren't designed for use in the Brother MFC-J625DW inkjet printer, the LC1240 cartridges are the higest capacity cartridges available for use in this printer. This genuine Brother LC-1280XLRBWBP 3 colour ink pack is only compatible with the printers listed on this page which doesn't include the MFC-J625DW printer.     I was so pleased with these cartridges. They are genuine Brother ink cartridges. There are so many compatible Brother cartridges which I had decided to try thinking I was getting a great deal because obviously they are so much cheaper, but in no way do they match the quality of the original and the colour tone is less superior. So I will not be buying those again as I value quality in my print. These original cartridges from Cartridge Save were the best deal I could find.
