HP Deskjet 350 Printer Review
Expert review of the HP Deskjet 350 printer
A compact, travel-size printer designed for the road, the HP Deskjet 350 makes an excellent business travel companion. It is small and lightweight, and offers more versatile connectivity options than earlier portable inkjet models from HP. The HP Deskjet 350 printer makes work more efficient, although it still has a lot to improve on in terms of speed and print quality, especially with a maximum resolution of only 600x300 dpi.
Design
The HP Deskjet 350 series printer has a sleek design, measuring approximately 12x3x6 inches, and weighing just a little over 4 pounds. It is a compact printing box that has an automatic paper feed, which means users don't have to manually feed media to the machine. The HP Deskjet 350 inkjet printer has a 512 MB built-in memory and is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems.
Advantages
In addition to its small size and portable design, the HP Deskjet 350 boasts low maintenance cost, as the printer uses ink sparingly. However the HP 350 still can only handle one ink cartridge at a time, which means users will still have to change ink tanks when printing monochrome or colour documents. The HP 350 Deskjet printer can also be used with an infrared adapter for wireless connectivity.
Disadvantages
Slow print speeds and low resolution outputs can be a problem for those who have more demanding print tasks. The Deskjet 350 can only print 5 pages per minute in black and white and up to 2 pages per minute in colour. Infrared connectivity is only available as an option.
