Ever wondered which UK towns printed the most? <\/span>Well, we were certainly intrigued!<\/p>\n

Driven by our thirst for knowledge, we delved into the data and discovered that it was university towns that were responsible for printing the most material.<\/span><\/p>\n

London, which is home to 40 higher education institutions, tops the league followed by Durham, Manchester and Bristol.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leeds, Liverpool and Glasgow also feature in the top ten compiled by the online printer and ink retailer from sales data since the start of the coronavirus outbreak.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many of the nation\u2019s 1.8million undergraduates have faced unprecedented disruption since returning to university last month – with much teaching now taking place virtually in order to stem the spread of coronavirus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet despite this, the demand for <\/span>printer ink<\/span><\/a> is surging, with an increase in domestic sales of 15 per cent since the start of the pandemic in March.<\/span><\/p>\n

In that period, Cartridge Save has shipped 100,000 more cartridges than during the same period last year – driving record sales of \u00a39million.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Managing Director, Ian Cowley, commented: \u201cAs a nation, we\u2019ve faced significant disruption this year, with students bearing much of the brunt of this.<\/span><\/p>\n
