Our Verdict:

The Canon L500 is a robust fax machine ideal for small to medium-sized offices. This heavy-duty unit can deliver good quality faxes as well as copies with a maximum resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. The Canon L500 laser fax has a modem speed of 3,600 bps and has Super G3 transmission. This model is integrated with 8 MB of memory, which allows it to save 510 sheets. PC-connectivity is not offered.

Design

The boxy Canon L500 laser printer has a large control panel that comes with a numeric keypad, operation keys, and a monochrome LCD display. It has a maximum scanning line density of 16 dot / mm x 15.4 line / mm and it can handle more than 1,000 sheets at a time. Optional handset is offered and the Canon L-500 black and white fax machine has handy features such as communication history display, polling, timer send, and more.

Advantages

Users will have no trouble operating the Canon L500 monochrome fax. This device is very easy to use and setup plus it requires little maintenance. The Canon L500 laser fax machine can be used for heavy jobs as it has high-paper handling capacity. This model has a decent copy speed of 18 cpm and it can continuously copy up to 99 sheets. Maintenance is straightforward with an easy to install Canon FX-4 laser toner as the only consumable for the L500 fax machine.

Disadvantages
