Canon NP-6212 Toner Cartridges
Canon NP-6212 Printer Review
Expert review of the Canon NP-6212 printer
The Canon NP-6212 printer comes from a long line of photocopiers that date back from as early as the 1960s. It is one of the more contemporary versions of the NP series that still use liquid dry technology for neat, crisp, and sharp plain paper copying. The Canon NP-6212 copier printer is very easy to maintain, since it only requires a single toner cartridge to operate. However, the NP-6212 printer is limited to monochrome operation and it does not support automatic double-sided copying or document feeding.
Design
The Canon NP-6212 black and white copier has the same design as the previous NP model, featuring a flatbed digital copier and an intuitive control panel for easy adjustment of different settings. The input and output trays protrude on both sides of the unit, which is why the Canon NP-6212 laser printer requires extra horizontal space when operating. The NPG11 toner replacement cartridge for the Canon NP6212 copier prints approximately 5,300 copies.
Advantages
The Canon NP6212 mono laser printer offers decent copy speeds, which means greater productivity for workgroups and photocopying businesses. The NP6212 laser copier can create multiple copies from one original document with just a simple push of a button. Outputs have consistent quality, with maximum resolutions up to 600x600 dpi. The unit also offers copy reduction and enlargement options and is capable of handling various media types including labels, envelopes, and transparencies.
Disadvantages
However, the Canon NP 6212 copier does not have an integrated ADF unit for easier paper handling when copying multiple-page originals. It also does not support colour copying, nor does it offer automatic duplexing for making copies on both sides of the paper.
