Frequently Asked Questions

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, Delta, Solo, American Express and JCB cards. We can also accept cheques and PayPal by prior arrangement. We accept purchase orders from schools and government organisations.
Please contact us if you are a business or school and wish to set up a credit account with us.

Is my credit card information secure?

All Credit Card information is passed over a secure connection using the latest encryption technology. When you go to the 'Checkout' page, you will see that the page starts with 'https' (meaning secure SSL connection) and there is a padlock at the bottom of your browser window indicating this. Your details are only decrypted after they reach our fulfilment department. Our systems are extremely secure and so your credit card details are safe. If you still aren't happy with buying online, you can always call us on 08000 811 855 and place your order over the phone.

How will my goods be delivered and how much do you charge for postage and packing?

We offer FREE delivery on all orders. 98% of orders are delivered next working day.

We hold a large stock of ink cartridges and toners and endeavour to dispatch all orders received before 3:00 PM the same working day. Please allow up to 4 days before reporting non-delivery of your order.

In the unlikely event that your goods are not in stock we will inform you of an estimated delivery date via email.

Read more about our delivery service.

If you haven't received your order yet it may be that your order is at a Royal Mail sorting office.

The parcel may have been too large to fit through a letterbox, so can you please check with your local Royal Mail Sorting Office to see if they are holding any parcels for you. We find that Post Office staff don't always leave a card if there is nobody at home to take the parcel from them and it gets returned to the depot.

If Royal Mail do not have your order we ask that you wait 4 working days before contacting us to report a lost item.

What is a compatible inkjet cartridge?

Compatible cartridges are non-OEM new cartridges - not recycled. Compatible printer inkjet cartridges are manufactured by a third party factory to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) specifications. Each printer cartridge is carefully researched, manufactured and tested.

What is a remanufactured cartridge?

A remanufactured ink cartridge is a refilled original cartridge. Many printer manufacturers now encourage people to recycle ink cartridges and toner cartridges. These recycled cartridges are then refilled or remanufactured.

What does OEM mean?

OEM means 'Original Equipment Manufacturer' which means a cartridge manufactured by the same company as the printer.

Does using remanufactured / compatible inkjet and laser cartridges void my warranty?

According to Hewlett-Packard, the use of a refilled print cartridge does not affect the warranty unless failure or damage is attributable to it. This is typical of all manufacturers' warranties. Keep in mind that the ink does not touch any part of the printer or internal parts other than the cartridge and print head. The ink is applied to the paper as the paper is fed through the printer.

Why should I buy a compatible cartridge?

Why not? The main reason is because it saves you lots of money! What other reason do you need?

Will using a compatible cartridge void my warranty?

Major printer manufacturers sell printers at or below cost. They make their profits from selling the cartridges. Formerly, once you bought your expensive new printer you had no choice but to buy one of their cartridges after yours ran dry. By using compatibles you are cutting into their primary source of profit. Because of this, they will threaten to void your warranty if you use compatible cartridges. They are simply trying to protect their own interests anyway they can. It is however strictly ILLEGAL for them to do so. They CANNOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY simply for using compatible cartridges. There is no reason that you should not use compatible cartridges. They work and will save YOU money.
We've sold hundreds of printer ink cartridges and laser toners and never had an incident where a customer's warranty was "voided" from using our products.

Will I Get the Same Number of Printed Pages From a Compatible Ink Inkjet Cartridge as an Original Cartridge?

You will get at least the same number of printed pages from compatible Inkjet cartridges as you will get from an OEM Inkjet cartridge. Customers are reporting many, many more pages of print per cartridge over their OEM Inkjet cartridges.
