HP 51645A Black Cartridge
For HP Deskjet 710, 720, 750, 810, 820, 840, 843, 850, 870, 880, 890, 895, 920, 930, 940, 950, 959, 960, 970, 990, 1000, 1120, 1200, 1218, 1220, 1600, G55, G85, K60, K80, R45, V40, V45, PSC 500, PSC 750 printers
1. Turn the cartridge upside down. Remove the plastic film that seals the filling hole and push ball bearing into the cartridge using an old ballpoint pen.
IMPORTANT - DO NOT use the steel filling tube for this purpose.
2. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with ink.
3. SLOWLY inject ink into the filling hole.
4. Seal the hole with the plug provided. If the plug seal is not airtight, then secure and seal plug with strong adhesive tape. This seal MUST be airtight, if not cartridge will leak.
5. Turn the cartridge the correct way up. Ink will leak from the print heads. Blot the print heads with tissue for 2 minutes to remove any excess ink.
IMPORTANT - DO NOT LEAVE THE CARTRIDGE STANDING ON TISSUE.
6. Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use or use with a different colour ink.
7. Allow cartridge to stand on a protective, non-absorbent surface overnight to ensure no leakage. Blot print heads again and check for leakage.
8. Install cartridge into printer and run a priming/cleaning cycle as per printer instructions.
IMPORTANT - For best results, refill whilst ink still remains in cartridge. Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.
