Design

This 4800x1200dpi multifunction printer is designed to help users save time and accomplish more at home, so Canon integrated an auto sheet feeder, fast speeds, a flatbed CIS scanner, and a copier that can do borderless and continuous copies at up to 9 pages. There is a PictBridge port and a simple control panel with dedicated buttons for every function. The Canon Pixma MP150 measures 17.5 inches wide, 7.2 inches tall, and 15 inches deep, so it is quite compact for the desktop, but the Pixma MP150 is actually quite heavy at 5.53kg.

Advantages

The Canon Pixma MP150 combines a scanner and a copier in an affordable multifunction printer. Output looks reasonably good for an entry-level device, and users have the option to directly print pictures from a digital camera. The low initial costs make the Canon Pixma MP150 an attractive choice for students and families, too. Print speeds are relatively fast at up to 22ppm in monochrome and 17 ppm in colour.

Disadvantages

There are no media card slots and ink cartridges can be pricey. The Canon Pixma MP150 lacks an automatic document feeder, too, and the absence of a fax feature makes it unsuitable or some users. You need to manually realign the hardware every time you change ink cartridges, and this can be overwhelming for first-time users and those who lack technical know-how. The Canon Pixma MP150 package does not come with direct print port and USB cables.
