Canon S900 ink cartridges 

The Canon range has been slightly overshadowed by the highly impressive Hewlett-Packard Photosmart collection in recent years, but anything that Hewlett-Packard can do, Canon are certainly looking to match in any way that they can. The Canon S900 is a distant cousin of the Photosmart range as it offers many of the same features, but can it match up to the well-respected competition? Here is a brief guide and review of the Canon S900.

Design

The Canon S900 is hardly reinventing the wheel, but there are many benefits hidden underneath the simple, silver exterior. If the truth be told, the Canon S900 does not possess the same amount of style as many of the Photosmart printers, but in terms of actual design, it does boast a very useful user interface and wouldn't look out of place in a range of environments.

Advantages

Looking past the Canon S900 and its simple and subtle exterior, there are many benefits which an owner of the Canon S900 can look forward to enjoying. It sounds obvious, but the Canon S900 really does offer some fine results in terms of print outs. Text documents are crisp and the colour images created by this machine are just as good as anything a Photosmart printer can churn out; all very impressive aspects of this quality Canon machine.

Disadvantages

Picking fault with a printer of this quality seems a little harsh, but it's our job. Then again, there isn't really much to complain about where the Canon S900 is concerned. If we were forced to find issue, perhaps the only let down for owners of the Canon S900 is the fact that it isn't much to look at, but that hardly matters when the results are this impressive.
