A photocentric inkjet for businesses and homes, the HP Business Inkjet 1700C is an instant photo lab, offering high quality prints at impressive speeds. More recent versions even offer updated software which allows more printing options and enhancements. The HP Business Inkjet 1700C can produce high resolution images, graphics, and texts, and is capable of handling different sorts of print media, including transparencies. The machine however does not offer networking, and is only limited to printing functions.
Design
The HP Business Inkjet 1700C takes after the line's traditional lacquer box type design, and is a bit oversized at 26x8.4x22.3 inches. It has a front yield output tray that can be upgraded to an auto duplexer when purchasing the 1700d version. The HP Business Inkjet 1700C has diverse connectivity options, and comes standard with USB and parallel ports, as well as infrared connection.
Advantages
Users enjoy excellent print quality with the HP Business Inkjet 1700C. It can produce a maximum resolution of 2499x1200 dpi in colour and 1200x1200 dpi in black. Print speeds are also reliable even for busy environments, averaging 16 ppm and 5.5 ppm for black and white and full colour outputs, respectively.
Disadvantages
