HP Deskjet 5745 ink cartridges 

The HP Deskjet 5743 is an efficient printer and a smart choice for personal and home use. It saves money with its low energy consumption and ‘automatic off’ feature, and has a monthly duty cycle of 3000 pages. However, being an older model, it does not support Wi-Fi and is considerably slower.

Design

The sleek design of the HP Deskjet 5743 makes it easy to fit into compact spaces. It has an input capacity of 100 sheets and an output capacity of 50 sheets – not a lot, but enough for most personal printing requirements. This basic printer boasts decent resolution.

Advantages

When the HP Deskjet 5743 is not in use for 30 minutes, it automatically shuts down. It alerts you when ink is running low; it operates even with one pen out of ink and has an ink back-up mode. The HP Deskjet 5743 allows borderless printing and is integrated with six-print mode software and an optional 6-ink printing feature.

Disadvantages

Lacking Wi-Fi connectivity, the Deskjet 5743 lags behind its competitors. It is also rather slow; in fact, its fastest print speed is 23.5 ppm. It produces high-quality prints, but replacement inks and toners are also pricey.
