HP PSC 2210 Ink Cartridges

Design

The HP PSC 2210 printer is integrated with a digital copier, a 2400x1200 dpi scanner, and a 33.6 Kbps fax machine in a compact body measuring 18.2x14.6x8.7 inches (WxDxH). It is heavy at 17.9 lbs and has limited memory (8MB). The additional memory card slots for SD, Memory Stick, CompactFlash, and SmartMEdia cards are great for direct-printing. The fax machine has a built-in memory that can handle 50 pages and can be used as a standalone machine. Unlike its predecessors, the HP PSC 2210 is Energy Star certified.

Advantages

Users love that the HP PSC 2210 is easy to set up. The speed and quality are excellent for everyday printing needs in a small office. Photo enthusiasts can enjoy high quality images with vivid and true-to-life colours when using the right kind of media. The maximum printing speed of the HP PSC 2210 is decent at 17 ppm in monochrome and 12 ppm in colour.

Disadvantages

Although it is reliable, the HP PSC 2210 has its share of problems. For instance, it wastes ink when print heads need to be realigned. Installing software drivers tend to be troublesome for users running newer Windows and Mac operating systems. The cartridge holder is not very sturdy and may snap off when not handled carefully. Finding replacement parts can be difficult, too.
