The robust TallyGenicom 7265+ is an economical choice for busy offices. Not only is it reliable, it is also Energy Star qualified which helps in lowering running costs. This dot matrix printer boasts quick print speeds and can handle a wide range of media. Its monthly duty cycle is 40,000 pages. However, only a front paper feeder is available.
Design
The TallyGenicom 7265+ weighs approximately 42lbs and measures 24.5 x 16.9 x 10.9 inches. It has a front paper feeder, which is conveniently covered with a lid when not in use. On the right side of the unit is a control panel with function buttons and a status display. LAN, parallel, and serial ports are also integrated in this model.
Advantages
With a maximum resolution of 360dpi, the TallyGenicom 7265+ is able to deliver readable characters and solid barcodes and bitmaps. Its print speed is quick at 900 characters per second on 15cpi draft and 100cps on 10cpi letter quality. Some of the media the TallyGenicom 7265+ can handle include 7-multi-part forms, continuous forms, and labels.
Disadvantages
The TallyGenicom 7265+ could be more versatile if it was able to offer rear and top paper paths. Its status display can be a bit larger for easier operation. Even though it has Ethernet connectivity, Wi-Fi is still not offered, even as an option.
