Hello, You say is not directly compatible with Mac , and you say driver available to fix thé problem, i havé search this driver i never found it, CAN you send me when i CAN have it?? Tanks

Xerox 7142 Wide Format ink cartridges 

A relatively affordable and convenient solution for wide-format colour printing requirements, the Xerox 7142 Wide Format is designed for use in construction, engineering, and architectural companies as well as commercial print shops and manufacturing firms. It doesn’t readily work with Mac OS, though; additional drivers need to be installed.

Design

The Xerox 7142 Wide Format is a compact standalone printer with a user-friendly 15-inch touch screen for inputting commands. Hard copies of documents are scanned and electronically stored for easy reference later on. It can handle multiple media types, ranging from standard quality paper to film rolls, tracing paper, and uncoated or coated paper. Its rated speed is an impressive 40 square metres per hour.

Advantages

The ‘CMYK variable droplet piezo permanent head’ feature of the Xerox 7142 Wide Format promises savings on ink without sacrificing the quality of prints even on economical uncoated paper. Print heads do not need to be replaced often, and the print driver facilities are user-friendly. Ink replacement is easy. The ‘highest quality’ speed (1440 x 2880) is 1 hour, 37 minutes, and 22 seconds (A0).

Disadvantages

The main drawback of the Xerox 7142 is that it is not directly compatible with Mac operating systems. However, there are drivers available for downloading to fix the problem.
