The versatile Brother P Touch PT-500 printer can work as a standalone label machine or it can be connected to a PC to run as a label printer. This makes the Brother PT-500 label tape machine ideal for mobile or office work. It has excellent features for printing labels and can even handle different types and sizes of label cassettes but this unit is a bit too heavy to be a handheld device.
Design
The Brother PT-500 labeller comes in black and has a rather bulky shape. Its LCD display has a backlight and is large. It also features a QWERTY keypad and has other important keys for functions and symbols. A battery compartment is at the back and the Brother PT-500 labeller also has a slot for an AC adapter. This device measures 3.5 x 4.8 x 9.7 inches and it weighs 1 pound and 15 ounces.
Advantages
The print speed of the Brother PT-500 label machine is quite quick at 1.2 inches per second. There are several font styles and sizes to choose from for endless labelling possibilities.
