Brother MFC-9840 toner cartridges 

Suitable for workgroups and small businesses, the Brother MFC-9840 is a handy solution for average printing requirements. This laser printer boasts faxing, scanning, and copying features and has a built-in network for easy sharing with multiple computers.

Design

The Brother MFC-9840 is a bulky, box-like printer with a flatbed scanner on top. The control panel and small screen is also at the top for easy access. The scanner boasts an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400, and the printer boasts a speed of 21 ppm for black and white and coloured prints.

Advantages

Reduce paper waste with the advanced duplexer of the Brother MFC-9840, which can automatically print on 2 sides of the page. The same duplexer allows 2-sided copying, scanning, and faxing. The replacement toner cartridges are all high-capacity, saving you money in the long run. The Brother MFC-9840 can print even without a computer, thanks to USB direct interface.

Disadvantages

Unlike its competitors, the Brother MFC-9840 does not have memory card slots and cannot print directly from a camera. There is also an issue with the MFC-9840’s indicator, which often shows a ‘low toner’ alert even when the toner is still full.
