HP LaserJet 1022N toner cartridges 

The HP LaserJet 1022N is a great workgroup printer that will meet the requirements of a small business that demands printing speeds of up to 19 pages per minute. This laser monochrome printer uses HP ProRes 1200 and HP FastRes 1200 to produce amazing documents that have a resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. To ensure that print information is processed, the HP 1022N employs a 266 MHz processor that is coupled with 8 MB of RAM for storage.

Design

The HP 1022N toner printer is both lightweight and space-saving. It comes in dimensions of 37.08 cm in width, 24.38 cm in depth, and 24.13 cm in height. A weight of only 5.48 kg makes this printer handy and easy to carry. A 250 sheet input tray is used to feed the printer and a 150 sheet output tray is ready to catch printed works. The 1022N also comes equipped with a 10 sheet priority input tray that can be used for a variety of media. Furthermore, HP 1022N toner is manufactured in a high-yield cartridge that will easily create 2,000 pages before needing to be changed out.

Advantages

This printer can print on an array of media which includes cards, envelopes, plain paper, labels, and transparencies. It can handle producing up to 8,000 impressions per month without any problems. HP 1022N toner is great for the budget and will help keep maintenance costs down. This printer can also be connected in a network using an Ethernet cable to allow various networked computers to use the 1022N as a print station and reduce the need for multiple printers.

Disadvantages

A minor disadvantage is the lack of any expansion slots that would allow for more RAM to be installed. This printer also operates at a very noisy sound emission level of 62 decibels. During standby, the HP LaserJet 1022N is still loud and produces 49 decibels. In fact, this is one of the louder printers on the market. In addition, this printer is expensive for only producing 19 pages per minute. It is relatively expensive to buy, so it might be worth considering a more affordable, faster option.
