Our Verdict:  

HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 Colour M551dn toner cartridges 

The HP LaserJet M551dn is a business printer with excellent energy-saving features all bundled up into a relatively affordable device. It boasts crisp and realistic colour details using HP EasyColour technology and boosts print quality with HP ColourSphere toner technology and HP ImageREt 3600.

Design

The M551dn weighs 34 kg and is comparable to other enterprise level printers in terms of size. It has an impressive 800MHZ processor speed and a maximum of 3 paper trays. HP is especially proud of its eco friendly technologies. This model features the HP Auto-On/Auto-Off Technology, which allows it to turn on and off when not needed or when in use. With the HP ePrint, the HP LaserJet M551dn can automatically print from mobile phones and other Wi-Fi ready gadgets.

Advantages

This printer is ideal for large business settings where security is important, as it features user authentication. The M551dn is capable of 2-sided printing and is integrated with HP Colour Access Control capabilities that let companies monitor who (or what application) uses colour printing, limit access to colour printing, and track and bill departments or clients for colour printing costs.

Disadvantages

Though very efficient and relatively well priced, the HP LaserJet M551dn has no hard disk capacity – something that comparable printers have.
