Our Verdict:  

Konica Minolta Bizhub C252 toner cartridges 

The Konica Minolta Bizhub C252 is a multifunctional colour and monochrome copier printer capable of scanning and high-volume Super G3 faxing as well. What the C252 lacks in its awkward appearance, it more than makes up for in performance. With print speeds up to 25 pages per minute in both monochrome and colour, and printing resolutions of up to 600 x 600 dpi, the C252 is a fast, capable all-in-one printing solution for any small to mid-sized office looking for high-volume printing capabilities without sacrificing quality. The system comes with 512MB of standard print memory, a 40GB hard disk drive, and 32MB of fax memory. Compatibility options include most Windows and Mac operating systems while connectivity options encompass Ethernet 10/100 BaseT, Parallel IEE 1284, and USB 1.1 & 2.0.

Design

The awkward chassis of the Bizhub measures out at 64.8 cm wide by 75.5 cm deep by 77 cm high and weighs in at an astonishing 95 kg. The substantial footprint left behind by the C252 ensures that this system will remain stationary, but its all-in-one functionality make it the only required centerpiece for all the office needs. The unit comes equipped with a 250 sheet multi-purpose input tray along with an additional 500 sheet side mounted tray and a 100 sheet bypass. The Konica Minolta C252 toner cartidge system is easily accessible from the front of the machine for operator convenience.

Advantages

The C252 comes fully network enabled with standard duplexing. A monthly duty cycle of 75,000 pages per month ensures the durability and capability needed for the high-yield print jobs a busy medium sized office requires. The system is capable of supporting up to 3,350 sheets of paper with maximum optional compartments to keep user maintenance at the very minimum. Cyan, magenta and yellow Konica Minolta C252 cartridges have a capacity of nearly 12,000 pages per life cycle while black Konica Minolta C252 toners have a yield of 20,000 pages and are relatively inexpensive.

Disadvantages

The bulky footprint of this machine takes up an extraordinary amount of floor space. The only standard porting feature is the network ready Ethernet 10/100 BaseT, the optional Parallel and USB ports must be purchased separately.
