The impressive Lexmark MX511DTE is an MFP ideal for small workgroups. It features a 4.3 inch colour touchscreen display on its control panel and is integrated with an automatic duplexer and RADF. To help save time, it has high paper handling capacity and has a monthly duty cycle of 100,000 pages. The Lexmark MX511DTE black and white multifunction printer is integrated with a memory of 512 MB and an 800 MHz processor. Print, scan, and fax output only comes in monochrome.

Design

The Lexmark MX511DTE MFP comes with a flatbed scanner and a standard paper handling capacity of 900 pages plus 50-sheet ADF. This model weighs 58.4 lbs and measures 24 x 19.3 x 17.8 inches. The Lexmark MX511DTE printer does not offer finishers but paper handling capacity is upgradable to 2,000 sheets. USB and Ethernet ports are offered and the Lexmark MX511DTE mono multifunction printer has a control panel with touchscreen display and numeric keypad.

Advantages

Users don't have to wait long to get their output as this device has a print and copy speed of 45 ppm. The Lexmark MX511DTE all-in-one mono laser printer is user-friendly and has easy networking as it has standard Ethernet. The duplexer can be used for all functions including the scanner. The Lexmark MX-511DTE multifunction printer also has a handy USB host for direct printing and scanning plus email functions. Long-lasting Lexmark MX511DTE toners ensure that printer maintenance is easier with cartridges needing to be changed less often.

Disadvantages

The scanner can only handle media as large as 8.5 x 14 inches or legal size. The MX511DTE laser printer only offers monochrome output. More users would be able to access the Lexmark MX 511DTE workgroup printer if it had standard Wi-Fi.
