The Ricoh Aficio MPC3004ASP is a highly versatile multifunctional printer that’s ideal for mid-sized workplaces, offices or business needing a highly functional machine that produces great results at high speeds. Due to its size and costs, small office and workspaces may be able to find something more in line with their needs and budgets but this would be a great option for busy workgroups where speed and versatility is a priority.

Design

This printer measures 26.3 x 29.1 x 47.5in and weighs approximately 101kg, making it most suitable for mid-sized office spaces and work groups. It has a 220-sheet single pass document feeder and 500-sheet output tray. One of the most attractive features is the Ricoh MPC3004ASP’s 10.1in Smart Operation Panel which comes as standard and offers users an intuitive and easy way to navigate the printer’s many features and functions.

Advantages

The main advantages to this particular model are its function and versatility, because not only does the Ricoh Aficio MPC3004ASP promise to print, scan, and copy all from one machine, it does all of them well. With double sided document scanning at 180 images per minute and print speeds of 30ppm in both black and white and colour, as well as a 25 second warm up speed and first print speed of just 7.1 seconds even in colour, and 4.6 when printing in mono, this is a useful machine.

Disadvantages

This Ricoh Aficio MP-C3004ASP comes with PostScript only as an extra rather than as standard, which is disappointing at this level of the market. It’s also unfortunate that the fax capability is an additional extra as well, although fewer and fewer workplaces use the function so that might not prove a problem.
