  • No. Printer Samsung CLP-325 takes the CLT-P4072 toner cartridges and these are different from the CLT-P4092 toner cartridges that are used in printer Samsung CLP-315.

My black ink is not printing correctly. I am getting bands of light or no print down the page. If I replace the toner will this disappear or is this a fault elsewhere in the machine. On the toner roller there are bands of shininess which correspond to the missed print.They reappear after cleaning. I am prepared to buy a new cartidge from you if this will remedy the fault. Thank you

Hello, I bought a Samsung CLP 315 printer in Qatar. Now that I have returned to the UK I am finding it difficult to replace the ink cartridges. The serial numbers of the ink cartridges are, K409S, C409S, M409S and Y409S. The only ones I seem to be able to source in the UK are 4092S and they don't work as I have tried. Please can you help/advise. Many thanks, Claire

  • Unfortunately the printers are regionalised so it will be very hard to locally find the toners you need for a printer purchased in Qatar.

    I would recommend contacting Samsung to see if there is anyway to reset the "zone" of your printer or if they can help you source the toners you need.

About the Samsung CLP 315 printer

Samsung CLP-315 toner cartridges 

The Samsung CLP-315 is an economically priced colour laser printer, and is perfect for the home or home office. Using the quiet, Samsung exclusive, No Noise print engine for quiet printing, it has the same engine used in Samsung's best selling colour printers. It includes drivers for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/Vista x64, Linux, and Mac OS X 10.3 through to 10.5. It uses a USB interface, and comes with a Samsung 360 MHz processor and 32 MB RAM. The Samsung CLP-315 prints cards, transparencies, envelopes, and labels from a minimum size of 3"x6.3" to the maximum size of 8.5" x 14". It prints at a speed of 17 pages per minute black and 4 pages per minute colour, with resolutions up to 2,400 by 600 dpi for both black and colour printing. It required four cartridges, and prints up to 1,500 pages between refills. The cost of printing is comparable to most of the higher priced laser printers on the market.

Design

The Samsung CLP-315 is an elegant printer with a piano black control panel. It is one of the world's smallest laser printers, with a footprint measuring 15.3" x 12.3" x 9.6", so that it fits easily into small spaces. It has a 150 sheet input tray, and a 100 sheet output tray. Featuring duplex printing, pages are easily removed from the output tray and fed back into the input tray without having to flip or turn them for printing.
