Samsung CLP-320 toner cartridges 

The Samsung CLP-320 colour laser printer for home or small office is a user friendly machine that is both reliable and compact. The quality of the printer isn't limited to the prints; the machine is aesthetically well designed featuring a smooth glossy exterior, and the front console of the printer features easy-to-access buttons.

Design

The printer measures in at around 39cm x 31 cm x 24 cm and is easy on the hands because of its rounded edges and glossy grey and black finish throughout. Unlike some other laser printers, the power button here is located on the front panel so the user doesn't have to reach for the back of the printer to turn it on or off. The printer is very quiet and runs below 47 dBA and even when printing the sound doesn't exceed that of an average refrigerator. The Samsung CLP-320 toner is quite affordable with good life expectancy. Most importantly, the print quality is excellent and can be set as high as 2,400 x 600 dpi. The Samsung CLP-320 toner particles are designed to be more condensed and discreet than those in regular toners to give high quality text and graphics, but the 30% toner-save-mode should satisfy those looking to print at minimal cost. In terms of connectivity and storage, the printer features USB 2.0 and has a maximum memory capacity of 32 MB.

Advantages

The Samsung CLP-320 has many advantages that set it apart from other colour laser printers. The front panel of the machine houses a print-screen button. A press of this button lets the user print a snapshot of their screen instantly. The front panel also features a standby mode for greater energy conservation. Another useful feature is Samsung's AnyWeb print software, which comes bundled with the printer, that allows the user to gather information from the Internet onto a scrap board. The user can drag graphics and tables discreetly into a page and print them, instead of printing individual pages or fumbling through multiple softwares to isolate graphics and text.

Disadvantages

Although it does what it does quite well, the Samsung CLP-320 doesn't offer wireless connectivity like the higher end models. The supplied Samsung CLP-320 toner that comes in the box when you buy the printer is long lasting, but its capacity is below the standard 1000 pages. This is common among manufacturers who cut costs by bundling laser printers with lower capacity toners than their replacement counterparts. Another minor drawback is the speed of the printer. The mono printing runs at a decent 16 pages per minute, but it is lower than that of other laser printers.
