  The cartridge arrived promptly. It fits the printer and is working fine. It would be difficult for me to make a final comparison with the official cartridge as far as long life is concerned, but the quality is compatible with all the other toners I have used.

  Haven't actually done much colour printing since I bought this cartridge but using the printer menu to produce a colour test page it looks as good as if I had used OEM cartridges. I've had the black version of these compatible cartridges in place for some time now and that seems to work fine, so I think you can buy without worry and save yourself some money. For some reason the cyan (blue) cartridge is now playing up and that's Lexmark OEM - producing random blotches on the page, but that can't be anything to do with the other cartridges. Will have to buy a compatible cyan one next, I expect.

  The only criticism was that the printer had a little trouble with recognizing the magenta cartidge. The contact points were given a rub on the cartridge but still a no-go. After re-starting the printer all was eventually ok and still is. Super value product and I will certainly re-order when these run out.

  I've always tried to stick with OEM cartridges, having heard/read numerous reports of so-called compatible cartridges not working properly or failing prematurely. However, in the current economic climate I felt I had no choice but to consider this option and so ordered one when the black cartridge on my printer ran out. I've only just fitted it, so cannot comment on how long it will last, but so far installing it has cleared the message that the cartridge is running out and the first prints from it look as good as those from an OEM cartridge. I did like the fact that you could return OEM cartridges to Lexmark for recycling as I think it's very wasteful just to chuck them, but afaik I can't return them to cartridgesave. Other than that, perfectly happy so far. I will be interested to see if this cartridge delivers anything like the life of an OEM one.

  Cartridge works fine but there's no ready means of returning old cartridge for recycling. Environmentally unfriendly!

  1st remanufactured cartridge supplied did not work, printer failed to recognise it. Cartridgesave replaced it next day delivery no problem. The faulty cartridge was to be collected by courier, this yet to be achieved despite telephone call to advise non collection.
