I'm looking for the most economical toner for my Brother printer, which has run out of toner. I see you offer a black drum which does 12,000 pages, what is this? Will this replace my current cartridge? Thank you Sally

Brother HL-2270DW toner cartridges 

Speedy, small, and specifically made for low-volume printing in monochrome, the Brother HL-2270DW is an improved version of a previous model and is aimed at small offices. Integrated with Wi-Fi support, this printer can easily be integrated into a small network via Ethernet, too, but it still cannot handle heavy printing.

Design

A small footprint and compact design makes the Brother HL-2270DW suitable for a small office or a home with no-nonsense requirements. Unlike its predecessor, it is equipped with an auto duplexer and an adjustable paper tray that can accommodate up to 250 sheets. The Brother HL-2270DW uses a high-yield toner cartridge, creating even more savings. The built-in memory increased from 8MB to 32MB, and there are versatile connectivity options via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB.

Advantages

Duplex printing helps users save time and resources, while the flexible connectivity options enable them to make the most of the Brother HL2270DW through an Ethernet-based or Wi-Fi network. The Brother HL-2270DW is also praised for being a space-saver and for its crisp text output.

Disadvantages

This monochrome printer is made only for low-volume printing despite its generous monthly duty cycle of up to 10,000 pages. There are no additional paper trays, so users have to make do with the standard 250-sheet input tray. The Brother HL-2270DW could have been better and more competitive in the market if it printed in colour because there are similarly-priced single-function devices from other brands that can do that and offer more for the user's money.
