Canon FC-120 toner cartridges 

Classified as a monochrome analogue personal copier, the Canon FC-120 has been designed for the small office, home office, and for personal use. It features virtually maintenance free operation because it employs an all-in-one toner cartridge that includes the Canon FC-120 toner, copy drum, and cleaner unit. The consolidated toner cartridge means that the Canon FC-120 produces clear, clean, sharp copies without the need for extra maintenance and cleaning. The FC-120 requires no warm-up time, and is ready to handle a variety of copy jobs as soon as it is powered up. The built-in auto off features saves money on energy costs, and the large 50 sheet input tray ensures an ample supply of paper is available for copying. The copier includes exposure controls that allow the user to select from either automatic or manual mode settings. Moreover, the Canon FC-120 offers outstanding reproduction of both graphics pages and pages including fine text.

Design

The FC-120 is produced in a stylish, all-black casing that looks attractive in its surroundings. What is more, it can fit almost anywhere because it enjoys a small footprint, and is dimensionally about as large as a standard briefcase. This compact copier is energy efficient, consuming 600 Watts during operation, and 1.4 Watts while in standby.

Advantages

A versatile copier, the FC-120 can produce copies on standard paper, coloured paper, OHP film, and various postcard size stock. Additionally, this copier will accept plain paper, recycled paper, labels, heavy weight paper, transparency film, and tracing paper. The Canon FC-120 cartridge comes complete with the core copier components, so there is no need to purchase and stock additional consumable components. Its small scale design and built-in carrying handle allows the unit to be moved without effort or strain. Simply find a location, plug it in, and start copying. The unit will produce its first copy in only 22 seconds, making the Canon FC-120 a truly portable piece of office equipment.

Disadvantages

Because this is a small scale device, it can only produce 4 copied pages per minute, and does not offer a colour copy option. The Canon FC-120 incorporates the use of a moving plate to scan-in the document, so it consumes a larger amount of energy than a unit that employs a moving scan-bar.
