Canon i-SENSYS MF419x Toner Cartridges

Design

Canon took the popular 418x and added fax capability to create the Canon i-Sensys MF419x. Navigating the numerous features is via a 8.9cm LCD touch screen which is intuitive if not as fast a those use to smartphones have become. USB and network inputs sit at the back and there is WiFi connectivity for wireless networking, AirPrint and Google cloud print functionality. Standard and high capacity Canon MF-419x toner offers flexibility for more demanding print needs.

A plethora of accessories are available including an additional 500 sheet paper tray, card readers, barcode printing kits and a pedestal stand giving plenty of options to expand as your needs increase.

Advantages

Duplex printing is available as standard on the iSensys MF419x, providing efficient paper usage and can be used with the scanner to create double sided photocopies. IPsec is used for wireless security helping to ensure documents don’t end up in the wrong hands.

As previously mentioned, fax capability has been included for communicating with other business which have yet to modernize their communication options.

Disadvantages

Photocopying takes 10 seconds and printing 33 pages per minute (single sided) which leaves the Canon MF419x playing catch-up with some of it’s competitors, plus if you’re looking for one device that does everything, you may want to note that this printer is mono only.
