Our Verdict:
The Dell 1130 laser printer is an excellent workhorse that will meet the demands of a small business or a large office. This laser monochrome printer is able to produce up to 24 pages per minute and has a monthly duty cycle of up to 12,000 pages. It uses 1200 IQ technology to enhance images and can produce prints at a maximum resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. In addition, this printer uses a 360 MHz processor and has 64 MB of RAM to handle multiple print jobs.
Design
There is no doubt that this printer is designed to be used in a small space having dimensions of 36.06 cm in width, 38.86 cm in depth, and a height of 19.81 cm. The Dell 1130 is also very lightweight at only 7.3 kilograms. It connects to a PC using a high-speed USB cord with installation accomplished by inserting a CD into your computer. The Dell 1130 can also be installed onto Linux, Windows, or Mac OS X. This printer has a single media feeder that can hold up to 250 sheets of paper. The input tray is located on the front of the printer and is easy to load with the output tray located on the top and has maximum capacity of up to 80 pages.
