Our Verdict:  

HP LaserJet P2015DN toner cartridges 

The HP P2015DN is a monochromatic LaserJet printer that works well for home or small business use. This particular model is equipped with a duplex feature and is capable of being installed onto a network. The main tray of the printer will hold 250 sheets while a multipurpose tray on the front of the machine will accommodate 50 sheets.

Design

The overall design of the P2015DN is very similar to most other models by the company. The paper is loaded from a bottom tray and the finished copies exit onto a top tray. There is a small display that will show the user any pertinent error messages and settings can be adjusted from here.

Advantages

This HP printer has a relatively and can print text at approximately 22 pages per minute. It is relatively light compared to other brands and weighs approximately 24 pounds. The cost of replacement HP P2015DN toner is also inexpensive compared to others.

Disadvantages

Even with the lighter weight, this model has a relatively large footprint, largely due to the duplexer. The machine itself is substantially louder than other models and has a strong toner odour when printing multiple pages, which can be distracting if the printer is in a cabinet or on a desk very close to the user. There are also some known issues with the formatter board which may cause some models to fail after time. Overall though, the HP P2015DN is a good choice for a home or small business user.
