The Ricoh Aficio SPC231N is an excellent printer for a home-based office or for a small business. This laser colour printer can print in full colour or black and white at speeds of up to 20 pages per minute. Additionally, this printer can produce beautiful documents at a resolution of 2,400 x 600 dpi. It can have its first print out in just under 14 seconds and manages a duty cycle of up to 30,000 impressions per month. This printer is also equipped with 128 MB of RAM and a 300 MHz processor to direct incoming print jobs.

Design

This printer is has a contemporary design that is sure to please the eye. In addition, it has dimensions of 40 cm in width, 45 cm in depth, and a height of 32 cm. This printer is heavier than the average printer at a combined weight of 23 kg without paper. Connection occurs using a USB 2.0 cable or using a network card which would allow the printer to print wirelessly. This printer also comes with a 250 sheet input tray and an output tray that can manage up to 150 sheets. An LCD screen also alerts users when supplies are running low and makes setting up prints easy. Ricoh SPC231N toner is also designed to create up to 6,000 pages using a high-yield toner cartridge or 3,000 using a standard Ricoh SPC231N toner cartridge.
