Can you please tell me the difference between your cartridge that is being sold for #33.38 and #51? Any major difference or advantage? Thanks

  • If you're referring to the Brother TN2120 toner, the more expensive cartridge is a genuine Brother toner and the cheaper cartridge is a premium brand recycled toner.

    Both cartridges have the same page yield and there is little or no difference in print quality. The major difference/advantage is the price.

my MFC-7840W printer sceen shows Drum is low. should i buy a new drum unit? what's the diffence with Drum and cattridge? thanks

  • The error message you are getting does suggest that you will need to replace the drum unit in your printer soon. The drum unit in the printer transfers the toner powder from the cartridge and fuses it to the paper, it doesn't contain any toner powder itself and does generally last longer than the cartridges. The drum unit for your printer will need changing approximately every 12,000 pages.
