Will 300xl do the same job

  • The 300XL cartridges are a higher capacity version of the 300 cartridges. Please note, not all printers that take the 300 cartridges will take the 300XL's so please check compatibility with your printer before ordering.

Because these are just 'compatible' cartridges, are they noticably different in the quality of printing to the genuine HP versions? Is it literally just the brand that costs more, or is it different ink used as well?

  • These cartridges are produced to very high standards and are designed to produce the same high quality prints you would expect from OEM HP items. You should not see a difference in print quality when using these cartridges.

    As a product it is great. It works as well as the 'original' cartridge. There is just one drawback which must lie in the printed circuit. The printer does not recognise the cartridge and can therefore not show its current status - full, half-full etc.

    Refilled cartridges are an obvious choice with price in view. The printer does not recognise the cartridge and therefore won't tell you how much is still left. Normally not a problem this could be awkward if a booklet of say 100 pages has to be printed.
