With the Xerox ColorQube 8870DN, the company has turned printing costs on their head by sharply increasing the cost of the device and at the same time bringing down the cost of ink sticks. Aside from these financial considerations, this device is suitable for monthly print cycle requirements of over 100,000 pages, offers speed and high resolution, as well as wireless capability and excellent design software.

Design

The Xerox ColorQube 8870DN looks much like most laser printers, is quite small in size and is rather noisy. Reviewers have lamented the rattles and thumps, and recommend positioning the printer well away from a personal workspace. Fast mode is particularly loud, nearly to the point of nuisance.

Advantages

The Xerox ColorQube 8870DN is one of the company’s most powerful solid ink printers. The print quality is crisp, the speed is unrivalled, and the output capacity is seemingly endless. Businesses print 120,000 pages per month with this device. The usual wireless and remote printing functions also feature.
