Ideal for home or office use, the Brother PT-3000 P-Touch is a simple label machine with a built-in printer and small LCD display. It's easy-to-use with basic labelling options and has a print speed of 10mm / sec. The desktop-type Brother PT-3000 printer is a bit bulky and has only one font installed.
Design
A QWERTY keypad is integrated into the Brother P-Touch PT-3000 label printer along with function keys and a numeric keypad. The tape cartridge cover can handle 4 width types. On the upper right hand of the Brother PT 3000 label machine is an AC adapter slot and on the back of the unit is the battery compartment for 6 AA batteries. This unit measures 174 x 200 x 50mm and weighs 0.65kg.

The Brother PT3000 P-Touch label maker has 9 available storage areas of up to 300 characters for phrase memory. This convenient label machine delivers durable labels and offers several character sizes. It also has a memory buffer size of 55 characters. The P-Touch 3000 label printer is very easy to use and can even print dates through the numbering function. To save battery life, the Brother PT3000 labelling system will shut off automatically when not used within 5 minutes.
Disadvantages
More labelling options would be offered if the PT-3000 labelling machine had more than a single font installed. This device also needs a larger LCD display as opposed to its miniscule 1 line x 4 columns. The optional AC adapter for the Brother P-Touch PT3000 is an additional cost.
