One of the fastest multi-function printers available, the Konica Minolta Bizhub 754e has everything for the modern, large and busy office. Printing in both colour and black and white, this printer can produce up to 75 printed pages each minute and can print on a variety of paper sizes and types, including banner format printing of more than a metre.
Design
The touchscreen colour panel has won awards for design excellence and makes the printer very easy to use. The document feeder for scanning allows for dual-sided scanning at good speeds. The Konica Minolta Bizhub 754e is compatible with a variety of operating systems, from most Windows systems to Linux and Citrix. The hard drive on the machine is 250GB as standard, and can store up to 3,000 documents to a maximum of 10,000 pages. The height of the unit is 115.5cm, and it weighs around 221kg.
Advantages
When printing in A4 black and white, the Konica Minolta 754e can produce 75 printed sheets per minute, and in A3, it can produce up to 37 sheets per minute, which is much higher than other printers in the range. Colour printing is on average half the speed of black and white. The print resolution is 1800 x 600 dpi and 1200 x 1200 dpi. The paper sizes that can be used on the printer start at A6, and there is a paper input capacity of up to 6,650 sheets.
Disadvantages
The resolution for scanning is much lower at 600 x 600 dpi. The very large size of the Konica Minolta Bizhub 754 means that it cannot just be parked in the corner of the office and requires a great deal of space, and it cannot be moved by one person. This printer is not suitable for a smaller office or workplace.
