As a monochrome printer, the Lexmark M1246 printer model does not feature any added functionality such as copying, faxing or scanning. This laser printer produces high-quality black and white prints up to A4 size and includes an integrated duplexer. Designed to fit easily on the corner of a desk, the Lexmark M1246 has a black and beige colour scheme that is suitable for most office settings. Functionally, this printer is a good fit for most small to medium workgroups that require only monochrome printing.
Design
At a weight of approximately 31.1lb, the single-function Lexmark M1246 printer measures 10.2 x 15.7 x 14.7 inches. With standard Ethernet and USB connections, this printer includes wireless connectivity as optional and makes use of a 2.4-inch colour LCD display. To expand its paper capacity, the Lexmark M1246 includes the option to add up to three additional 550-page paper trays as well as a 250-page paper tray.
Advantages
With a standard paper capacity of 250 sheets with an additional 100-sheet by-pass tray, the M1246 Lexmark laser printer should meet the needs of most small to medium workgroups that require black and white printing only.
