The Xerox Phaser 6600DN is a colour laser printer that produces quality prints. It is an asset to any small business. It prints efficiently in colour or black. Special features like advanced image options including colour calibration and watermarking set it apart from other printers. This printer is a step above the very similar models, since it allows printing on both sides of the page. Double-sided printing saves both paper and money. It would be great to see a multi-function machine that can produce such quality.

Design

The multipurpose tray holds up to 150 sheets of paper and both additional trays hold up to 550 sheets of paper each. The Xerox Phaser 6600DN will fit in almost any office measuring 430 x 488 x 384 mm. It weighs about 25.5 kg. The cube design would fit in with the design of most offices.

Advantages

The Xerox Phaser 6600DN can print on various media including plain paper, hole-punched paper, letterhead, light and heavy cardstock, glossy cardstock, envelopes, and labels. It prints with relative speed at up to 24 ppm in two-sided mode. Print resolution is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi with enhanced image quality. This printer warms up more quickly from power-saving mode and prints the first page faster than many models. Advanced features like settings for photo, colour calibration, watermarks, and eco-conscious aspects make this a specialized and efficient printer. It also offers an impressive almost 80,000 images per month duty cycle.

Disadvantages

It is difficult to find any negative aspects to this printer, since it has all the features of similar models and also includes double-sided printing. However, wireless connectivity is not included in this model, although it is available as an option. It would be great to see these specifications at this price in a multi-function machine.
