The DCP-J140W is one of Brother's cheapest inkjet multifunction printers, making it a suitable entry-level device for a small office or busy home users. It copies, scans and prints, but the absence of fax capabilities and the expensive running costs of the Brother DCP-J140W wireless all-in-one inkjet printer make it inferior to similar models.
Design
The Brother DCP-J140W compact colour inkjet multifunction printer features a smooth matte surface, a boxy frame, and curved edges. The scanner is adjacent to the control panel, which has a 15-line display screen and a total of 13 buttons for on-board configuration of all functions. The Brother DCP-J140W printer can be connected to a single computer via USB 2.0. Users can also print wirelessly from the DCP-J140W multifunction printer. The Brother DCP-J140W printer uses Brother LC-985 ink cartridges which can be purchased in four individual colours or as a set of Brother inks.
Advantages
