The Canon Pixma G2510 printer is a home and office multi-functional printer that can print photos and documents as well as scan. It features high productivity ink bottles at a low cost and is able to handle large page volumes easily. This compact all-in-one model is designed with FINE technology from Canon. Combined with its hybrid ink system that incorporates dye-based colours, this printer produces vivid borderless photographs up to A4 size and also prints sharp, crisp black-and-white documents. It is easy to print photos in creative ways using My Image Garden photo software, which includes face recognition that enables users to search through images on a PC. Compatible with Mopria on Andriod, this model can print without the need to download more apps, although they are available if required.

Design

The four front-facing tanks of this printer make it simple to evaluate ink levels, therefore enabling users to plan in advance and cut unexpected downtime, thus increasing productivity. Its dimensions measure approximately 445mm x 330mm x 163mm (width x depth x height) and it has an acoustic noise level of around 53.5dB(A), which makes it suitable for home office or small office use. The mono print speed comes in at 8.8 ipm, and the colour around 5.0 ipm.

Advantages

Efficient and versatile, the Canon Pixma G2510 officers high page yields of up to 6,000 from a black ink bottle or up to 7,000 using a single set of colour inks. It’s fast and simple to connect via USB to a computer, and the device can be easily operated with push button controls via a 1.2-inch mono LCD.

Disadvantages

Although the quality of the photo prints produced is good enough to meet the demands of most users, the Canon G2510 is aimed more at home office users than dedicated photographers.
