The stylish Canon Pixma MG2250 is a great addition for the home. This all-in-one printer offers excellent photo and fast document printing plus copying and scanning capabilities. Optional XL inks are available. The Canon Pixma MG2250 inkjet all-in-one printer comes with a top-notch creative software package as well as an application that allows direct photo printing from Facebook. The Pixma MG 2250 colour printer does not offer wireless connectivity, however.

Design

The Canon MG2250 colour inkjet printer comes in all black. It has a flatbed scanner and an easy-to-use control panel with an LED display. Print resolution can go as high as 4,800 x 1,200 dpi while scan resolution can go as high as 1,200 x 2,400 dpi. The Canon MG2250 Pixma printer can handle a wide range of media and has a front tray that can hold 100 sheets at a time. A USB port is provided for connectivity. The Canon Pixma MG2250 multifunction printer measures only 449 x 304 x 152 mm and weighs 5.3 kg.

Advantages

This multifunction printer delivers high-quality prints, copies, and scans. Users can expect vibrant coloured photos, and borderless printing is allowed. Performance speed is reasonable and the Canon Pixma MG-2250 inkjet multifunction printer can make multiple copies of up to 20 pages. This unit requires little maintenance and has a small footprint. Both Windows and Macintosh users will be able to access the printer and installation is quite simple. Lower overall running costs can be achieved by using high capacity black or colour cartridges in the Pixma MG2250 inkjet printer.

Disadvantages

The Canon Pixma MG-2250 does not come with an automatic document feeder and double-sided printing can only be done manually. Wasteful tri-colour ink is used instead of individual cartridges. The Canon MG2250 printer does not have Ethernet nor Wi-Fi.
