The Canon Pixma MG2255 is an all-in-one printer that can copy and scan as well as print. It is designed with features that make it convenient for use in the home or in a small office environment. This inkjet printer creates mono and colour documents and images to a high standard and in a number of different sizes. Although it is capable of being an effective printer in several different scenarios, it is not necessarily quick as larger, more heavy-duty printers as it does not have an automated document feeder.

Design

As the panels of the Canon MG2255 are closed, it has a compact size that belies the extent of its ability. Beneath the upper lid is a flatbed CIS colour scanner upon which copies and scans can be properly aligned to ensure accurate results with every single print. The software that is necessary to immediately start using the printer is included as part of the package, which includes access to My Image Garden, the software package for editing photos. The control panel is conveniently placed, easy to use and follows the streamlined style of the printer.

Advantages

The Canon Pixma MG2255 can provide a print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, which it does with the use of a 2pl ink droplet system.
