The compact Canon Pixma MG2950 inkjet photo printer is ideal for home use. This model can print everything from photos to documents. Aside from printing, the Canon Pixma MG2950 all-in-one colour printer can also copy and scan. It comes with standard Wi-Fi connectivity for easy sharing among multiple users and it also supports cloud connectivity. With high yield Canon MG2950 printer ink cartridges, running costs can be a lot lower.

Design

The Canon Pixma MG2950 colour multifunction printer comes in white, measures 426 x 306 x 145mm and weighs 3.5kg. For connectivity, a USB port and Wi-Fi are offered. This model has a small control panel with function buttons and indicator lights. For paper handling, its tray can carry up to 60 standard sheets. The Canon Pixma MG2950 photo printer has a flatbed scanner.

Advantages

The Canon Pixma MG 2950 Wi-Fi all-in-one printer delivers professional prints as it offers a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1600dpi and uses 2pl ink droplet technology. Print speed is decent at 8ipm for monochrome and 4ipm for colour. The scan speed of the Canon MG2950 inkjet multifunction printer is quite quick at 14 seconds per page and this model can continuously copy up to 21 pages. Thanks to standard Wi-Fi, connecting to the Pixma MG2950 wireless photo printer is easy. This model also comes with a USB host for direct printing from thumb drives and even digital cameras via PictBridge.

Disadvantages

Although the Canon MG2950 all-in-one wireless inkjet printer is ideal for photo printing with its PictBridge port and high resolution plus support for photo paper, borderless printing isn't offered. The Pixma MG2950 offers double-sided printing but this can only be done manually.
